Additives

More than 30 years ago links between chemical additives and health problems were recognized, but only now are scientists really discovering the effects of certain food additives, colours, flavours, preservatives and artifical sweeteners on our bodies, especially on the most vulnerable - our children.

Don't let your child be a 'guinea pig' for large chain manufacturers of popular convenience and junk food, who care little for the health of the consumer.  Though there are thousands of additives used, many of them quite safe, a significant number have been identified (and banned in other countries!) as potentially harmful.

These chemical additives are TOXIC and will cause varying degrees of disturbance to normal physiological and biochemical functions of the body, depending on the sensitivity of the individual.  Common symptoms include:

    • Skin problems/rashes (e.g. eczema)
    • Breathing difficulties and exacerbation of asthma
    • Sleep disturbances
    • Excitability/hyperactivity
    • Poor concentration, depression, mood changes
    • Digestive problems
